Oradea, one of the safest and 'greenest' cities in Romania, can be crossed and explored by bike by the whole family. In addition to the welcoming paths, spanning over 30 km, cyclists can enjoy stunning and unforgettable views, from the architecture of the buildings in the city centre to the spectacular sunsets on the banks of Crisul Repede River.
Here is one of the most popular and bike-friendly routes for families who enjoy cycling and sightseeing.
Oradea by bike, for families
Route suggestion for children and parents: Union Square - Vasile Alecsandri Street - December 1st Park - Oradea Fortress - Union Square. Along the way, you can also visit Black Eagle Palace, the Moon Church, the Greek Catholic Bishopric Palace, the City Hall Palace and Tower, and the Sion Synagogue. Stop and admire them, cross their thresholds, and, of course, snap pictures of them.
You can restore your energy in one of the city's playgrounds, also offering a quick and healthy lunch in a friendly atmosphere.
Kids shopping
Don't worry, all the malls in Oradea offer a diverse range of clothing stores for the little ones, bookstores with special areas dedicated to their needs and informative experiences specially designed to develop their creativity.
Choose to spend a weekend in a „kids friendly" city, where people and nature coexist harmoniously. Book a hotel room right here!
