The Visit Oradea Tourist Information Center is located on Independenței Street no. 20, right in the heart of the city. This unique project is the first tourist information center run by the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Oradea and the Region.
The centre is open daily, Monday to Sunday, from 10am to 8pm, offering both tourists and locals useful information about the city's sights and attractions, tourism products, cultural and leisure events, as well as recommendations for exploring Oradea and its surroundings. The centre is staffed by personnel who speak Romanian, English, and Hungarian.
Visitors will find brochures, maps and personalised recommendations here, as well as Visit Oradea branded products - diaries, flasks, mugs, badges, tote bags and other items that can be taken home as souvenirs or used for everyday purposes.
This project aims to be more than just an information point; it is also a unique visual and sensory experience, inspired by the city's architecture and transposed into a contemporary language, straddling the line between art installation and functional space. The interior design is nothing short of spectacular. The walls are clad in copper, transforming the light and urban landscape into a constant dialogue with the outside world, while the flooring, colored in the signature colours of the Visit Oradea brand, brings energy and dynamism. The white furniture, with its fluid shapes, completes the atmosphere, offering visual respite in a vibrant and modern setting.
